About Pleasant Street Inn
"This old house" was built in 1906. During its long tenure at 232 South Marina Street it had three known owners (including a beauty salon in the Terrace Suite). In 1990 the City of Prescott chose South Marina for their new Police Station so instead of destroying the 3500 sq ft house; it was moved approximately four blocks to its present location on the corner of South Pleasant Street and Goodwin.
The interior was refitted with new plumbing and wiring and was remodeled to be a bed and breakfast. The 100 year old molding, doors and staircase, as well as the 10 foot ceilings, were preserved to show off the history of this beautiful Victorian home.
The Pleasant Street Inn is a member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
